The SN74HCT541N is a high-speed CMOS quad bus buffer/line driver featuring three-state outputs, optimized for interfacing between high-impedance and low-impedance systems. It operates from a single 2-5.5V supply voltage, exhibiting a typical propagation delay of 7ns (VCC = 5V) and a maximum clock-to-output delay of 8ns under the same conditions. Each of the four independent buffers provides a high-current drive capability, typically sourcing or sinking 24mA, making it suitable for driving relatively capacitive loads.
