The NXP PDTD113ZU115 is a 50V, 100mA NPN resistor-equipped transistor (RET) or digital transistor in a very small SOT-346 (SC-59A) SMD package. This device integrates a 1 kΩ base resistor (R1) and a 10 kΩ base-emitter resistor (R2), significantly reducing component count and board space. It’s designed for switching applications where precise input control is required. The integrated resistors provide a defined input impedance, simplifying biasing and reducing the need for external components. Typical use cases include level shifting, inverter circuits, and driver stages for small loads. The operating temperature range spans –65°C to 150°C. This RET offers improved switching speed and reduced saturation voltage compared to discrete transistor solutions with external resistors, leading to more efficient circuit designs.
