FOD852 – ONSEMI

The Onsemi FOD852 is a high-performance, single-channel solid-state relay (SSR) featuring a gallium arsenide (GaAs) infrared emitting diode (IRED) optically coupled to a silicon phototransistor output. It provides electrical isolation and switching capability for AC or DC loads. The output stage is designed for a voltage rating of 60V and a continuous current rating of 350mA. Packaged in a compact 4-pin small outline SMD package, it is ideal for high-density board layouts. The FOD852 offers superior switching speed and reliability compared to electromechanical relays, eliminating contact bounce and wear. Its operating temperature range spans –40°C to 85°C, making it suitable for various industrial and consumer applications.
