EB2-5NU – NEC

The EB2-5NU is a dual-pole, double-throw (DPDT) electromechanical relay manufactured by NEC (now Renesas Electronics). It is designed for general-purpose switching applications requiring isolation and control of two independent circuits. The relay features a coil voltage of 5VDC and a contact rating of 1A at a specified voltage, typically 30VDC or 125VAC resistive load. Coil resistance is typically around 125 ohms, resulting in a nominal coil current of 40mA. The EB2 series employs a bifurcated contact design to enhance contact reliability and minimize contact bounce. Its compact size and through-hole mounting configuration make it suitable for PCB integration in various electronic devices. Expected life is 10^7 mechanical operations and 10^5 electrical operations at rated load.
