The Diodes Incorporated BAS116V is a high-speed switching diode fabricated using planar technology, optimized for applications demanding rapid switching and low capacitance. This device boasts a repetitive peak reverse voltage rating of 100V and a forward continuous current rating of 200mA. Encased in a small SOT-23 SMD package, the BAS116V offers excellent board space efficiency. Its fast reverse recovery time (typically < 4ns) makes it ideal for clamping, signal rectification, and protection circuits in high-frequency applications. Typical uses include RF mixers, detectors, and high-speed digital circuits where minimizing signal distortion is crucial. The BAS116V operates reliably within a temperature range of –65°C to 150°C, ensuring robust performance in demanding environments.
