The ATXMEGA32E5-AU is a high-performance, low-power 8/16-bit AVR XMEGA microcontroller based on the enhanced RISC architecture. Fabricated on a CMOS process, it integrates 32KB of in-system self-programmable Flash memory with read-while-write capabilities, 4KB of SRAM, and 512 bytes of EEPROM. The device operates at clock speeds up to 32 MHz, delivering performance up to 16 MIPS. Peripheral features include a 12-channel DMA controller, a multi-channel event system for inter-peripheral signaling, multiple 16-bit timers/counters with PWM channels, USARTs, SPI interfaces, and a two-wire interface (TWI) supporting both master and slave modes. Analog peripherals consist of a 12-bit ADC with up to 20 single-ended channels and a 12-bit DAC. The ATXMEGA32E5-AU operates from a supply voltage of 1.6V to 3.6V and is housed in a 32-pin TQFP package with a 0.8mm lead pitch.
