ACPL-227-50BE – AVAGO

The ACPL-227-50BE is a dual-channel optocoupler in an 8-pin small outline (SO) package, providing galvanic isolation up to 3 kVrms for one minute per UL 1577. Each channel incorporates an AlGaAs LED optically coupled to a silicon phototransistor. The device features a current transfer ratio (CTR) of 50% minimum at an input current (IF) of 5 mA and VCE = 5V. Maximum propagation delay is typically 2 µs, enabling use in applications requiring moderate speed signal isolation. The ACPL-227-50BE operates from a supply voltage of 3V to 5.5V and is specified for operation across the industrial temperature range of -40°C to +100°C.
