A2982SLW – ALLEGRO

The A2982SLW, manufactured by Allegro MicroSystems, is a monolithic, high-voltage, high-current bipolar power driver integrated circuit configured in a single-channel (1:1) arrangement. It is designed for driving inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, and stepper motors. The device features internal clamp diodes for transient suppression when driving inductive loads, protecting the output stage from voltage spikes generated during switching. The A2982SLW operates from a supply voltage range typically up to 50V, with output current capabilities reaching up to 1.5A, depending on thermal considerations.
