1N914 – SEMTECH

The 1N914, manufactured by Semtech, is a high-speed switching diode fabricated using silicon planar technology. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 100V and a continuous forward current (IF) rating of 200mA. The diode’s low forward voltage drop (VF), typically 1.0V at IF=10mA, and fast reverse recovery time (trr) of approximately 4ns make it suitable for high-frequency applications such as signal processing, clamping, and protection circuits. Encapsulated in a hermetically sealed DO-35 package, the 1N914 offers robust performance and reliable operation within a wide temperature range. Its small size and through-hole mounting configuration facilitate easy integration into various circuit designs. The device’s low junction capacitance (CJ), typically 4pF, minimizes its impact on circuit impedance at higher frequencies.
