BSL308C – INFINEON

The Infineon BSL308C is a logic-level N-channel OptiMOS™ power MOSFET specifically designed for high-efficiency synchronous rectification in switched-mode power supplies (SMPS). Its ultra-low on-state resistance (Rds(on) = 8.8 mΩ typical at Vgs = 4.5V) minimizes conduction losses, enhancing overall power conversion efficiency. This MOSFET features a drain-source voltage rating of 30V and is capable of handling a continuous drain current of 27A. The BSL308C is offered in a space-saving SOT-223 SMD package, facilitating automated assembly and compact PCB layouts. Its robust design allows for operation across a wide temperature range from –55°C to 150°C. Common applications include DC-DC converters, point-of-load regulators, and battery management systems. The device’s low gate charge and fast switching speed contribute to reduced switching losses, making it ideal for high-frequency applications where efficiency is paramount.
