Overview
The X24C44S is a 256-bit Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) non-volatile static random-access memory (NVSRAM) integrated circuit manufactured by XICOR. This memory device offers a 1 MHz clock frequency and is supplied in an 8-pin Small Outline Integrated Circuit (SOIC) package. It combines SRAM technology with EEPROM backup for data retention during power loss.
