The VOICEJOY-88 is a passive, four-position, four-conductor (4P4C) modular adapter characterized by a female 4P4C connector on one end and a male 4P4C connector on the opposing end. This adapter provides a straight-through, pin-to-pin electrical connection, extending or adapting existing 4P4C terminated cable runs. It is typically utilized in telephony applications for handset or line cord extension, or for adapting wiring configurations. The adapter body is constructed of a non-conductive thermoplastic polymer, providing electrical insulation and mechanical support. The 4P4C connectors feature gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts to ensure reliable electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance, suitable for low-voltage signaling applications. The VOICEJOY-88 is designed for indoor use in controlled environments and is not shielded against electromagnetic interference (EMI) or radio frequency interference (RFI).
