Overview
The TC74AC138FT is a high-speed CMOS 3-to-8 line decoder/demultiplexer manufactured by TOSHIBA. This device accepts three binary weighted address inputs (A0, A1, A2) and, depending on the state of three enable inputs (E1, E2, E3), decodes these inputs to activate one of eight mutually exclusive outputs (Y0 through Y7). The outputs are inverted, meaning the selected output will be low while all other outputs remain high. It is supplied in a PDSO16 (Plastic Dual Outline Small) package.
