The WICKMANN T2A is a radial-leaded, time-delay (slow blow) fuse rated for 2 Amperes. Constructed with a ceramic body and tinned copper leads, the T2A provides overcurrent protection in low to medium voltage circuits. Its time-delay characteristic allows for brief inrush currents, such as those generated by motor start-ups or capacitive loads, without nuisance tripping. The ceramic body offers high rupture capacity, enabling the fuse to safely interrupt high fault currents. The radial lead configuration facilitates through-hole mounting on printed circuit boards, providing a secure and stable connection. The T2A is designed to meet industry standard safety requirements for supplementary overcurrent protection. Its dimensions and performance characteristics are in accordance with relevant IEC standards for miniature fuses.
