The SI3015-FS, manufactured by Silicon Labs, is a single-channel, integrated silicon DAA (Direct Access Arrangement) device designed for global telephone line interface applications. This lot consists of two partial reels: one containing 326 units with date codes 0807 DC REV E and 0706 DC, and another containing 335 units REV E. These units are not supplied on their original Silicon Labs reels. The SI3015-FS provides programmable impedance synthesis, line voltage and current monitoring, and ring detection capabilities. It’s typically utilized in modems, set-top boxes, and other equipment requiring connection to a public switched telephone network (PSTN). The device’s functionality includes two-wire to four-wire hybrid conversion, minimizing signal reflections and ensuring optimal data transmission.
