Optically Coupled Isolator
Stock Quantity: 0
The OPI1264D from BOT LTD is a single-channel optically coupled isolator utilizing a gallium arsenide (GaAs) infrared emitting diode (IRED) as the input stage and a silicon phototransistor as the output stage. It provides electrical isolation of 3.5 kVrms minimum between the input and output, enabling signal transmission without a galvanic connection. The device exhibits a typical current transfer ratio (CTR) of 50% at an input current (IF) of 10mA and a collector-emitter voltage (VCE) of 5V. Key performance parameters include a forward voltage of 1.2V (typical) at IF=10mA, a collector-emitter breakdown voltage of 30V (minimum), and a saturation voltage of 0.4V (maximum) at IF=10mA and VCE=0.4V. The OPI1264D is typically housed in a 4-pin DIP package and is suitable for applications requiring signal isolation in industrial control, power supplies, and data communication systems.
