MIC5841YWM-TR – MICREL

The MIC5841YWM-TR, manufactured by Micrel (now Microchip Technology), is a monolithic, high-voltage, high-current bipolar array designed for driving inductive, resistive, or capacitive loads. This device integrates eight independent driver channels, each capable of sourcing up to 500mA with a maximum output voltage of 80V. The MIC5841YWM-TR features integral suppression diodes for transient protection when driving inductive loads, eliminating the need for external flyback diodes in many applications. Input logic is CMOS and TTL compatible, facilitating direct interfacing with standard microcontrollers and logic devices. The device incorporates an output enable control, allowing all outputs to be simultaneously disabled. It is supplied in an 18-pin Small Outline Package (SOP) with a 1.27mm pin pitch, suitable for surface mount assembly. The “-TR” suffix indicates tape and reel packaging for automated pick-and-place equipment.
