The MHDPPK9-K is a 9-pin D-subminiature connector hood, constructed of a black thermoplastic material, providing environmental and mechanical protection for mated D-sub connectors. It is designed for cable mounting, accepting standard cable diameters appropriate for 9-pin D-sub connections, typically ranging from 0.2″ to 0.4″ (5mm to 10mm). The hood features a two-piece construction secured with screws, facilitating cable entry and strain relief. The internal cavity accommodates standard 9-pin D-sub connectors with a 0.318″ (8.08mm) pin spacing. The black color provides UV resistance and aesthetic consistency in various applications.
