M24C02-WP – STMicroelectronics

The STMicroelectronics M24C02-WP is a 2 Kbit (256 x 8) serial I²C EEPROM with hardware write protection. It operates over a supply voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V and features a page write mode allowing up to 16 bytes to be written simultaneously, minimizing write cycle time. The M24C02-WP is packaged in an 8-pin SOIC (Small Outline Integrated Circuit) SMD package for efficient surface mount assembly. Its hardware write protect pin, when asserted high, prevents accidental data corruption. Typically used for storing configuration data, serial numbers, or calibration parameters in embedded systems, the M24C02-WP offers reliable non-volatile memory storage.
