LM2901MX – NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR

The National Semiconductor LM2901MX is a quad differential comparator specifically optimized for single-supply operation in automotive and industrial applications. This surface-mount (SMD) device allows for detection of small voltage differences with a common-mode input voltage range extending to ground. Each comparator features an open-collector output capable of sinking up to 20mA, allowing direct interfacing with TTL, DTL, ECL, MOS, and CMOS logic. Its robust design ensures stable performance across a wide operating temperature range of –40°C to 85°C. The open collector output has a Voltage Rating of 36V. The LM2901MX in its SOIC-14 package is commonly employed in zero-crossing detectors, window comparators, and simple A/D converters where its low input bias current and fast response time provide significant advantages over general-purpose comparators.
