LM1901D – STMicroelectronics

The STMicroelectronics LM1901D is a monolithic high-side switch designed for automotive and industrial applications requiring robust load protection. It integrates a power MOSFET with control logic, providing short-circuit, overvoltage, and overtemperature protection. The device features diagnostic feedback through a dedicated fault pin. The LM1901D supports a wide input voltage range and can drive inductive loads with integrated active clamp circuitry. It is capable of switching loads up to 2.5A continuous current while operating within a voltage range of 5V to 36V. The LM1901D is commonly used in automotive lighting, solenoid drivers, and industrial motor control applications. Its advantages include simplified circuit design, reduced component count, and enhanced system reliability. It is available in a SO-8 package and is rated for operation from –40°C to 150°C.
