LH0002H – NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR

The National Semiconductor LH0002H is a high-current operational amplifier buffer designed to significantly enhance the output drive capabilities of standard operational amplifiers. Its primary function is to provide current amplification without introducing significant voltage gain or offset. This monolithic device can deliver a continuous OUTPUT current rating of 100mA and sustain peaks much higher. The OUTPUT voltage rating is ±12V, allowing compatibility with a range of analog signal levels. Packaged in a hermetically sealed TO-8 metal can (through-hole), the LH0002H offers robust performance across a wide operating temperature range of –55°C to 125°C. Common use cases include line driving, servo amplifier boosters, and high-current instrumentation amplifiers. Its advantage lies in its ability to isolate sensitive op-amp circuitry from heavy loads, improving stability and reducing distortion.
