The LCW78_05-0.5 is a high-efficiency, non-isolated Point-of-Load (PoL) DC-DC converter module designed for a wide input voltage range of 9V to 75V. This module provides a regulated 5V output at a maximum current of 500mA, delivering up to 2.5W. Utilizing synchronous rectification topology, the LCW78_05-0.5 achieves a peak efficiency of 96%, minimizing power losses and heat generation. The module is designed for robust performance across an extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications. This compact module offers a cost-effective solution for generating a stable 5V rail from a variety of unregulated DC sources. Internal protection features include over-current and short-circuit protection, enhancing reliability and system safety. The non-isolated design allows for flexible grounding configurations.
