The FALCOM JP7-T SM is a surface-mount GPS receiver module designed for integration into embedded systems requiring precise location and timing data. This module utilizes a MediaTek MT3333 chipset, enabling concurrent GPS, GLONASS, and QZSS satellite reception for improved accuracy and availability, especially in challenging environments. The JP7-T SM incorporates a built-in low-noise amplifier (LNA) to enhance signal sensitivity. It outputs standard NMEA 0183 data strings via a UART interface, facilitating communication with a host microcontroller or processor. The module operates on a 3.3V DC supply and features a compact footprint suitable for space-constrained applications. The JP7-T SM requires an external antenna connected through a dedicated RF input pin.
