HCPL181-00BE – AVAGO

The HCPL-181-00BE is a single-channel, 3.75 kVrms isolation voltage, high-speed optocoupler housed in a 4-pin mini-flat package. This device utilizes a GaAlAs infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a high-gain integrated photodetector. The detector incorporates an output pull-up resistor, eliminating the need for external components for basic logic interfacing. The HCPL-181-00BE is designed for high-speed logic interfacing, providing a typical propagation delay of 25 ns and a common mode transient immunity (CMTI) of greater than 10 kV/µs. Its compact package and high isolation voltage make it suitable for applications requiring galvanic isolation in space-constrained environments, such as digital logic isolation, ground loop elimination, and power supply control. The device operates from a 4.5V to 5.5V supply voltage.
