Product Details:
The ICOTEK EMC-KT10 is a small, black EMC cable shielding insert designed for use with ICOTEK cable entry systems. Constructed from electrically conductive elastomer, the EMC-KT10 provides a 360° shield connection to cable shields within a 10-11mm diameter range. The insert is specifically engineered to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) by creating a low-impedance path between the cable shield and the grounded cable entry frame. Its small size allows for high packing density within compatible cable entry frames, maximizing the number of shielded cables that can be accommodated. Proper installation requires ensuring firm contact between the cable shield and the insert’s conductive surface, as well as a secure connection between the cable entry frame and the system ground. Shielding effectiveness is dependent on the overall system design and grounding practices.
