EE2-5NUH-L – KEMET

The EE2-5NUH-L is a KEMET general-purpose, dual-pole, double-throw (DPDT) electromechanical relay designed for low-signal switching applications. It features a 5VDC coil voltage and a 2A contact current rating at a specified voltage, typically 30VDC or 125VAC resistive load. The relay’s construction utilizes bifurcated contacts to enhance switching reliability and minimize contact bounce. Coil resistance is typically around 125 ohms, resulting in a nominal coil current of approximately 40mA. The EE2 series is known for its compact size and through-hole mounting configuration. Its operational characteristics include a typical operate time of 5ms and a release time of 3ms. Insulation resistance between coil and contacts is rated at a minimum of 100M ohms at 500VDC. Dielectric strength is tested at 500VAC between open contacts and 1000VAC between coil and contacts for one minute.
