DS1305 – MAXIM INTEGRATED

The Maxim Integrated DS1305 is a serially accessed real-time clock (RTC) with a built-in crystal oscillator and trickle-charge capability. It provides a complete time-of-day and calendar function, including seconds, minutes, hours, day, date, month, and year, with automatic leap-year compensation valid up to 2100. The device communicates via a 3-wire serial interface (SPI), simplifying integration with microcontrollers.
