Overview

The Analog Devices Inc./Maxim Integrated DG200ACJ is a dual-pole, single-throw, normally closed (SPST-NC) analog switch designed for robust signal routing in demanding applications. Its critical operational characteristic lies in its low on-resistance of 80 Ohms, enabling minimal signal attenuation. However, engineers must carefully consider the trade-off between this relatively high on-resistance and the component’s susceptibility to charge injection (10pC), which can introduce transient errors in sensitive analog signal paths, particularly at higher switching frequencies.

Key Features

  • Switch Circuit: SPST – NC
  • Number of Circuits: 2
  • On-State Resistance (Max): 80Ω
  • Supply Voltage: ±4.5V to ±18V
  • Switch Time (Max): 1µs (On), 500ns (Off)
  • Package: 14-PDIP (0.300″, 7.62mm)

Applications

The component is engineered for deployment in systems requiring high reliability and performance under specific operating conditions. It provides functional stability across the stated design envelope.

  • Analog signal multiplexing in data acquisition systems
  • Low-frequency audio signal switching
  • Control signal routing in industrial automation
  • General-purpose analog signal path selection
