This device utilizes an InGaN (Indium Gallium Nitride) active region for efficient blue light generation, which is then converted to white light via a phosphor coating. Forward voltage is typically between 2.8V and 3.6V at a forward current of 20mA. Dominant wavelength and luminous intensity are binned during manufacturing to ensure consistent performance across production lots. The axial lead frame is constructed of a silver-plated copper alloy, facilitating solderability and heat dissipation through the PCB.
