The AT28BV256-20TU is a 256-kilobit (32,768 x 8) parallel EEPROM IC manufactured by ATMEL. This device features a fast access time of 200ns, specified over the industrial temperature range. It utilizes a 5V ±10% power supply for read and write operations. The AT28BV256-20TU incorporates an internal address and data latch, simplifying microprocessor interfacing. Data is written using the JEDEC standard parallel interface, and the device supports page write mode, allowing for up to 64 bytes to be written simultaneously, thereby reducing overall write time. The device is packaged in a 28-pin Thin Small Outline Package (TSOP), suitable for surface mount assembly. Endurance is rated at a minimum of 10,000 write cycles per byte.
