The AM7201-25JC is a uni-directional asynchronous FIFO memory device manufactured by AMD. It provides a first-in, first-out data buffer with a capacity of 512 words, each 9 bits wide. Data transfer between the input and output ports is asynchronous, accommodating independent clock domains. The device operates with a maximum data rate of 28.5 MHz, corresponding to a minimum read/write cycle time of 35 ns. Access time is specified at 25 ns. The AM7201-25JC is fabricated using CMOS technology and is supplied in a 32-pin Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier (PLCC) package with dimensions of 13.97 mm x 11.43 mm.
