AM25S09DC – AMD

The AM25S09DC, manufactured by AMD, is a high-speed, Schottky-clamped, D-type flip-flop organized as a single 4-bit register. Fabricated using a bipolar process, it offers a typical propagation delay of 5ns, making it suitable for high-performance synchronous logic applications. The device features direct clear (CLR) and preset (PRE) inputs for asynchronous initialization. Data is clocked into the flip-flops on the positive-going edge of the clock (CLK) input. All inputs are diode-clamped to minimize transmission line effects and simplify system design. The AM25S09DC is housed in a 16-pin ceramic dual in-line package (CDIP), providing robust mechanical and thermal characteristics for demanding environments.
