The AG102, manufactured by SILVER TEL, is a single-stage sealed lead-acid (SLA) battery charger module designed for float charging 12V SLA batteries. It employs a constant voltage charging algorithm with a fixed output voltage of approximately 13.8V, optimized for long-term battery maintenance and minimal gassing. The module incorporates over-voltage protection circuitry, limiting the output voltage to prevent battery damage during charging. The AG102 features reverse polarity protection to safeguard the module and battery in the event of accidental misconnection. The charging current is limited internally, typically to a maximum of 1A, making it suitable for batteries with capacities ranging from 1.2Ah to 7Ah. The module requires a DC input voltage between 15V and 18V, and its efficiency is typically around 75% at full load.
