Product Details:

The Texas Instruments ADS1281IPWR is a low-power, 24-bit, delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter (ADC) in a 48-pin, 7x7mm QFN package. It boasts a high-resolution input range of ±2.5V, configurable via external resistors, allowing for flexible signal scaling. The device features an internal reference, eliminating the need for external reference components in many applications. Its low input-referred noise of typically 20nV/√Hz enables high-precision measurements even with low-level signals. The ADS1281IPWR operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply, further contributing to its power efficiency._x000D_

Key features include programmable gain amplification (PGA) with gains up to 128, a flexible data rate up to 1000SPS, and multiple data output modes including SPI and right-justified data formats. This makes it suitable for a wide array of precision measurement applications, such as biopotential sensing (ECG, EEG), industrial process monitoring, and high-resolution data acquisition systems where low noise and high resolution are paramount. Its low power consumption and small form factor are significant advantages in battery-powered or space-constrained designs. The internal reference simplifies design complexity and reduces the overall bill of materials.
