The Texas Instruments ADS1212U is a low-power, 12-bit, single-channel, delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter (ADC) housed in a 16-pin TSSOP package. It operates from a 2.7V to 5.5V supply voltage and features a ±2.5V analog input range, though this can be adjusted via external circuitry. The device boasts a throughput rate of 200kSPS and achieves a typical input-referred noise of only 2.5µVrms, making it suitable for high-resolution, low-noise applications. Its internal oscillator eliminates the need for an external clock, simplifying design.
