A6841SA-T – ALLEGRO

The A6841SA-T, manufactured by Allegro MicroSystems, is a monolithic, high-voltage, high-current bipolar power driver integrated circuit designed for driving inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, and stepper motors. This device features eight independent sourcing outputs, each capable of delivering up to 500 mA and sustaining voltages up to 80V. Internal transient suppression diodes protect the outputs from inductive kickback. The A6841SA-T incorporates thermal shutdown circuitry to protect the device from over-temperature conditions. Input logic is CMOS and TTL compatible. The device is supplied in an 18-pin dual inline package (DIP), facilitating through-hole mounting on printed circuit boards. Applications include automotive, industrial, and consumer electronics where multiple high-side drivers are required.
