The 74ACT573SC is a single-channel, octal D-type transparent latch integrated circuit fabricated in advanced CMOS technology. This device features eight independent D-type latches with a common latch enable (LE) input. Data present at the D inputs is transferred to the Q outputs when LE is HIGH. The outputs follow the data while LE is HIGH, and the outputs are latched when LE transitions LOW. The 74ACT573SC incorporates a tri-state output enable (OE) control, which, when HIGH, forces the Q outputs into a high-impedance state, allowing for multiple devices to share a common bus. The device operates from a supply voltage of 4.5V to 5.5V and is characterized for operation over the industrial temperature range. It is housed in a 20-pin Small Outline Integrated Circuit (SOIC) package with standard pinout, facilitating ease of integration into existing designs.
