The HARTING 9000005169 cable gland provides strain relief and environmental protection for cable entry into enclosures and equipment. Constructed from a thermoplastic material, it offers resistance to a range of common industrial chemicals and UV exposure, suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. This gland features a PG29 threaded connection, conforming to the German standard Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN) 40430, ensuring compatibility with enclosures and panels pre-tapped with corresponding PG29 threads. The internal sealing mechanism, achieved via compression of an elastomeric grommet, accommodates cables with outer diameters within the specified range for PG29 glands, typically between 18mm and 25mm. Installation requires a wrench to tighten the gland body, compressing the grommet and securing the cable.
