The Legrand 4680, part of the EMDX3 series, is a three-phase electronic digital power meter designed for DIN rail mounting. It provides direct measurement of active energy (kWh) according to IEC 62053-21 Class 1 accuracy. The meter accepts direct connection up to 63A, eliminating the need for external current transformers for typical low-voltage distribution applications. Measured parameters include voltage (V), current (A), frequency (Hz), power factor (PF), active power (kW), reactive power (kVAR), and apparent power (kVA). The integrated LCD displays real-time values and cumulative energy consumption. Communication is facilitated via a pulse output, proportional to the measured energy, for remote monitoring or connection to energy management systems. The device operates within a specified voltage range, typically 230/400V AC, and adheres to relevant EMC and safety standards.
