EBM PAPST

Elektrobau Mulfingen GmbH & Co. KG (ebm) was established in 1963 by Gerhard Sturm and Heinz Ziehl and in 1965 the very first compact fan in EC/DC technology was developed.In 1992 it acquired PAPST Motoren GmbH in St. Georgen and in 1997 it purchased the Landshut plant from ALCATEL – renamed Motoren Ventilatoren Landshut GmbH (mvl).

In 2003 the 3 companies merged, creating the ebm-papst Group; a significant leader in manufacturing electric motors and fans, and each component business is renamed ebm-papst Mulfingen, ebm-papst St. Georgen and ebm-papst Landshut.

From compact, axial and centrifugal fans, gas, circulation and tangential blowers, to pumps and motors;EBM Papst products focus in almost all industries’ applications.Rail, medical, telecommunications, computer and office technology, automotive, ventilation, air conditioning and drive technology markets to name but a few.

Their products are used in a diverse variety of applications, from household appliances such as refrigerators and ovens, to the thermal management of infotainment systems in your car, and can even be found on your local supermarket’s roof!
