The FM25V01-GTR is a 128-kilobit (16,384 x 8) Ferroelectric Random Access Memory (F-RAM) device manufactured by Cypress Semiconductor. This non-volatile memory utilizes a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) for communication, supporting SPI modes 0 (CPOL=0, CPHA=0) and 3 (CPOL=1, CPHA=1) for read and write operations. The device operates on a supply voltage range of 2.0V to 3.6V, making it suitable for low-power applications. Data is stored in the F-RAM array without the need for external power, providing virtually unlimited read/write endurance cycles compared to traditional EEPROM or Flash memory. The FM25V01-GTR features a fast write cycle time, typically on the order of microseconds, and includes features such as software block protection to prevent accidental data corruption.
