7283-7026-30 – YAZAKI

The YAZAKI 7283-7026-30 is a two-position, female connector housing designed for automotive and other harsh environment wire-to-wire applications. It accepts female terminals with a pitch of approximately 2.5mm, as is typical for YAZAKI connectors of this series. The housing is constructed of a glass-filled PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) resin, providing resistance to heat, chemicals, and vibration commonly encountered in automotive environments. Integral polarization features prevent mismating, and a secondary locking mechanism ensures terminal retention under stress. The connector is designed to mate with a corresponding male connector, typically incorporating a latching feature for secure connection. Current and voltage ratings are dependent on the selected terminal and wire gauge, but are generally suitable for low-power signal and power distribution circuits up to approximately 10A.
