Diffused Visible LED
Stock Quantity: 0
The HLMP-5000 is a gallium arsenide phosphide (GaAsP) on gallium phosphide (GaP) diffused LED emitting in the red portion of the visible spectrum. It is designed for applications requiring a wide viewing angle and moderate light output. The diffused lens provides a uniform light distribution, scattering the emitted light to achieve a wider radiation pattern compared to clear lens LEDs. Typical forward voltage is between 1.8V and 2.2V at a forward current of 20mA. Luminous intensity is dependent on drive current and falls within the standard range for this material composition and lens type, typically between 1 and 5 millicandelas at 20mA. The device is commonly packaged in a standard T-1 3/4 (5mm) through-hole package. Its GaAsP/GaP construction yields a dominant wavelength typically around 635nm, characteristic of a standard red LED.
