L-7113P3C – KINGBRIGHT

The Kingbright L-7113P3C is a 5mm (T-1 3/4) package NPN silicon phototransistor. It exhibits spectral sensitivity matched to visible and near-infrared wavelengths, peaking around 880nm, making it suitable for applications using GaAs or AlGaAs LEDs. The device features a narrow acceptance angle, typically ±24 degrees, providing focused detection and improved signal-to-noise ratio in targeted sensing applications. Collector-emitter breakdown voltage (VCEO) is rated at a minimum of 30V, while collector-base breakdown voltage (VCBO) is typically 30V. Dark current (ICEO) is specified at a maximum of 100nA under standard test conditions. The L-7113P3C’s epoxy lens is clear, non-diffused, maximizing light transmission to the active silicon area. It is commonly used in applications such as object detection, light barriers, and reflective sensors where precise detection and high sensitivity are required.
