Darlington Transistor Array, 8 NPN, 500mA, 50V, SOP-18
Stock Quantity: 0
The UMW ULN2803A is a high-voltage, high-current Darlington transistor array configured as eight NPN Darlington pairs. Each channel features a common-emitter configuration with an open collector output, facilitating interface with a wide range of loads. The device is fabricated using bipolar technology and packaged in an SOP-18 surface-mount package. Key specifications include a maximum collector-emitter voltage (VCEO) of 50V and a continuous collector current (IC) rating of 500mA per channel. An integrated input resistor allows direct interfacing with TTL or 5V CMOS logic levels, simplifying circuit design by eliminating the need for external base resistors. The ULN2803A is suitable for driving inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, and stepper motors, as well as incandescent lamps and LED displays. Internal suppression diodes are included for transient voltage protection when driving inductive loads.
