LM337LM/NOPB. – TEXAS INSTRUMENTS

The LM337LM/NOPB is a negative adjustable voltage regulator housed in a TO-263 (DPAK) surface-mount package. Unlike its through-hole counterpart, the LM337, the “/NOPB” suffix denotes a lead-free, RoHS-compliant version optimized for surface mount assembly. This device offers a stable, adjustable negative voltage output ranging from -1.2V to -37V, with a maximum output current of 1.5A. Its internal current limiting and thermal shutdown protection mechanisms enhance robustness in demanding applications. The LM337LM/NOPB features a typical input-output voltage differential of 2.5V at 1A load, and maintains a low output noise voltage of approximately 100µVrms. This makes it ideal for applications requiring precise negative voltage regulation, such as negative supply rails in operational amplifier circuits, precision analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), or in applications driving negative voltage LEDs.
