The FN9222R-16-06 is a single-phase EMC/EMI filter manufactured by Schaffner designed for snap-in mounting. It provides conducted emission and immunity filtering for electrical and electronic equipment operating up to 250 VAC at 50/60 Hz. The unit is rated for a maximum continuous current of 16A at an ambient temperature not exceeding the manufacturer’s specification, typically 40°C. This IEC inlet filter features a male IEC C14 connector input and utilizes a combination of inductors and capacitors to attenuate both common mode and differential mode noise. The snap-in design facilitates rapid installation into a panel cutout, eliminating the need for screws or additional mounting hardware. Leakage current is dependent on the Y-capacitor configuration and must be considered for safety compliance.
